The red is beautiful! Really blatant! I love the jacket!
It was difficult designing this collection (I've only included once piece of 20 designs) because it needed to be a new interpretation of the Masaai. During local fashion shows in Nairobi, there will ALWAYS, without fail, be someone who designs with the Masaai beadwork in mind. I wanted to see what I could come up with without falling into the cliche.
Tissue paper, Acrylics, silver paint,markers, watercolour pencils and pastels.
